The Rev. Dr. Brian J. Fraser served as Dean of St. Andrew's Hall and Professor of Church History at Vancouver School of Theology for 17 years. In his time as Dean St. Andrew’s Hall constructed 93 new residential units to provide student housing at UBC.
Under his leadership the Elders' Institute was founded in 2000 to serve the elders of The Presbyterian Church in Canada. He is author of several books including Governing in Christ: Provoking the Potential of Presbyterian Polity, published by the Elders' Institute and of many articles and reviews. Brian Fraser left St. Andrew's Hall in 2001.
