Campus Ministry & Chaplaincy

St. Andrew’s Hall seeks to reach out respectfully and gently with the Christian gospel to its own residents and to the wider campus community. St. Andrew’s Hall programmes are normally open to anyone in the university community.

Korean Campus Ministries, meets in the St. Andrew’s Hall Centre every Thursday during Academic Term at 5:00 PM.

A chapter of Alcoholics Anonymous meets in the St. Andrew’s Hall Centre Saturday evening at 7:00 PM.

Various Inter Varsity Christian Fellowship Events also meet in St. Andrew’s Hall. Please contact chaplains@standrews.edu for more information.

Chaplains are here to offer support, advice and encouragement to all members of the St. Andrew’s Hall community: residents and their families, students and staff; Christians and non-Christians.

Chaplains are happy to assist you in any way that they can. You will always find a friendly, compassionate and listening ear. Do you have:

  • Questions regarding spiritual issues
  • A need for acceptance and respect
  • Struggles with meaning, purpose or direction in life
  • Struggles with studies, relationships or your faith
  • Concerns about feeling angry, depression
  • Questions about your own values or those of your family or church
  • Concerns about drug or alcohol use

There are various opportunities to participate in bible studies, and various other groups at St. Andrew’s Hall. Please refer to posted announcements or the Sixty-Forty calendar for times and places.

There is also a worship service every Tuesdays at 12:00 noon in the CENTRE from September to April.
