Evangelism Conference for Congregations
CML is holding an evangelism conference, hosted by Haney Presbyterian Church, on Saturday, November 24, 9:30 am to 2 pm in Maple Ridge.
Our speaker Rev. Dr. Jerry Cannon is the Senior Pastor at C.N. Jenkins Memorial Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. Jerry has a passion for sharing the gospel with others and a history of equipping local churches for evangelism. Whether shy or bold when it comes to sharing the Christian faith, this workshop will help you and your local church to take new and meaningful steps towards sharing Jesus with neighbours.

A New CML Experiment in Breaking Bread!
The Breaking Bread Network is a collection of people throughout the Lower Mainland who seek to create space around their dinner tables to foster deeper connections in their lives and communities. The BBN is a community who believes that God’s Mission can be carried out through simply hosting meaningful, intimate meals in our own homes with people from all areas of our lives.
Participants of the BBN are faithfully engaging friends, neighbours and co-workers by sharing meals and hospitality around their tables.
Once a month folks will be gathering together to have deeper conversations, build stronger relationships and witness to God’s presence in their lives and communities. CML will also be hosting learning events throughout the year to help equip the network of hosts. If you are interested in learning more about the Breaking Bread Network, or interested in hosting, email Andrea at email@example.com

Dr. Lockhart’s new book entitled Beyond Snakes and Shamrocks: St. Patrick’s Missional Leadership for Today from Cascade Books is now available at amazon.ca. Following up on his Lessons from Laodicea: Missional Leadership in a Culture of Affluence in 2016, Ross explores the life of St. Patrick discovering deep & ancient wisdom from a missionary to a pre-Christian culture for us as missionaries to a post-Christian culture. Dr. Darrell Guder provides the foreword for this monograph that is an excellent discussion starter for Session meetings or congregational book study groups. In his endorsement Will Willimon says, “Canadian Ross Lockhart has quickly become one of our foremost interpreters of the church in mission to God’s world. Here is missional theology enacted and put in motion by wise, theologically informed skilled leadership.”
