FORMED TOGETHER

We are excited about our next gathering at 11:00 am (PST) on April 20th, 2022!

Phil Reinders will join us and speak on the topic – “Formed Together: A Common rule of life for the remaking of God’s people.”   Phil recently became Lead Pastor at ClearView Christian Reformed Church, but previously served Knox Presbyterian Church in downtown Toronto as Senior Minister.  He also leads a community called Habitus which you can take a look here: https://www.habituscommunity.org.

For our time next week, Phil will explore how a shared rule of life is a hopeful structure for the formation of a distinct way of life centered on Jesus. So much of the valuable spiritual formation literature and practice remains as a solo spirituality project – how can the church live out a Christian formation in community and as a people? A common rule of life offers a return to the church’s discipleship architecture for the intentional, contextual, and communal formation of God’s people.
