September 2, 2020

After a break over the summer months the leadership team at the Centre for Missional Leadership is ready with our fall line-up of our newly formatted Pastoral Zoom Calls.

We will be switching to monthly Missional Leadership Conversations where pastoral colleagues will come together to support one another and explore the changing church context amidst covid-19.

These one-hour calls will be held on the third Wednesday of the month at 11am PST/2pm EST

The flow of our calls will remain the same – we will still start with a devotion and have time for you to connect and reflect with colleagues in small break out rooms. We will then invite a guest speaker to address a topic that was suggested by you in our end-of-year survey.

September 16th – The Already and Not Yet of in person worship

Returning to in person worship? Still fully online? Somewhere in between? We will discuss how congregations are handling the hybrid model of gatherings.

October 21st – Faith in a Bubble

Exploring faith formation and innovative ministry within smaller bubbles of families, neighbours, friends, colleagues.

November 18th – Preparing for a Merry Covid Christmas

Looking at how our local congregations are imaginatively approaching gathering people and being missional during this Advent and Christmas season.

December 16th – Pastoral Resiliency in a time of Covid-19

What does pastoral resiliency look like when we are in this for the long haul?

We are looking forward to having you join us for these calls in the coming months. If there is a day that you cannot join the live Zoom call, the recordings of our speakers will continue to be posted on the SAH website.
