The Impact of CML

Since its founding in 2015, CML has impacted theological students at St. Andrew’s Hall/VST as well as resourcing the wider church, through Dr. Ross Lockhart’s speaking and publications on missional theology. Here are three recent graduates blessing the Presbyterian Church in Canada through their missional education:

  1. Mark Carter – Mark graduated in the spring with his Master of Divinity from Regent College and Presbyterian studies at VST. Mark has recently accepted an appointment as a Lay Missionary with special training in the PCC Cariboo house church network in northern B.C. He is excited to practice missional leadership with the good people of the Cariboo region.
  2. Andrea Perrett – Andrea graduated with her MDiv from VST last year and has begun a ThM in Missional Theology, while working part-time as CML associate in church planting at St. Andrew’s Hall. She has also been appointed as the Cyclical director for the Presbytery of Calgary-Macleod.
  3. Young Tae Choi – Young Tae holds a Master of Divinity for Regent College and a Diploma in Presbyterian studies from VST. In September he was ordained as an Assistant Minister at Richmond Presbyterian Church, with a focus on developing an Arts-based ministry for the neighbourhood. A former filmmaker, Young Tae is eager to apply missional theology principles to an Arts ministry in the lower mainland.

SUPPORTING THE WORK OF THE CENTRE FOR MISSIONAL LEADERSHIP

This is an exciting time to partner with St. Andrew’s Hall as we engage in mission experiments to benefit the wider church. Would you join us as a funding partner by making a donation today to The Centre for Missional Leadership in order to help support our programs to youth, young adults and congregations? Dr. Ross Lockhart would love to speak with you about ways in which you can contribute a tax-deductible offering to this important Kingdom work unfolding at St. Andrew’s Hall.
