  • Private patio/ground level entrance.
  • Approximately 850 square feet.
  • We don’t provide towels or toiletries.
  • No air-conditioning is available at SAH.

Without Parking:
Nightly: CAD$243, plus 8% PST
Weekly: CAD$1,458, plus 8% PST
Monthly: CAD$3,859, plus 8% PST

With Parking:
Nightly: CAD$252, plus 8% PST
Weekly: CAD$1,512, plus 8% PST
Monthly: CAD$3,959, plus 8% PST

Extra Person

We do not allow more people to occupy a suite than it is designed for. In a case where specific permission is given (an extra child for example), a fee of CAD$30/night, plus 8% PST will apply.

Bookings

Bookings must be arranged in advance and are subject to availability at the time when a complete application is received. No accommodation is guaranteed until confirmed by St. Andrew's Hall via email .

All applications must include a VISA/MasterCard number to guarantee payment and process applications. However, credit cards are not accepted for payment.

Groups

Information regarding group accommodation can be provided upon request. Please contact housing with specific inquiries. There is no special rate for groups.

Payment

All payments can be made by cash, Interac e-Transfer, cheque or money order payable to St. Andrew's Hall in Canadian funds. Credit/debit card, US dollars, and US cheques are not accepted.

Full payment is due upon arrival and prior to receiving the keys.

Minimum Stay

A minimum stay of three (3) nights is required.

Provisions

For all room types, we provide one set of bedding, but no towels. No housekeeping services are provided, and no toiletries are in suites/rooms. The apartments have kitchens equipped with major appliances (fridge, stove, and microwave), but no cooking or eating utensils.

A coin-operated laundry facility available to all guests.

No air-condition is available in units.

Cancellation Policy

  • If the number of nights booked is between 3 and 6 nights, 3 days notice is required or a penalty of one night's accommodation cost will be levied.
  • If the number of nights booked is between 7 and 14 nights, 10 days notice is required or a penalty of 25% of the total bill will be levied.
  • If the number of nights booked is 15 nights or more30 days notice is required or a penalty of 25% of the total bill will be levied.

If a guest doesn't show up on the scheduled check-in day without cancellation notice, the total bill amount will be charged. Specific cancellation policy for a group is determined and advised upon confirmation, depending on its size, length of stay, etc.

To change or cancel a booking, notice is calculated back from check-in (2:00 p.m.) on the scheduled day of arrival. Cancellation notice should be given in writing.

Check-In is between 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm

It is important that we know whether you will be arriving during or after office hours, so please be sure to indicate this on your application form.

A valid credit card and a photo ID of guest must be presented at check-in.

Only pre-arranged late arrivals (until 1:00 AM) can be accommodated.

A CAD$30 fee is charged per room for arrivals after 10:00 PM.

Check-Out is before 10:00 AM

Keys must be left at the front desk of the Housing Office or in the Early Morning Key Drop-off outside of office hours on the day of scheduled departure.

We ask that the bed linen is left in the room and that all garbage and food be removed when departing.

Guests are expected to do basic cleaning of their units with cleaning supplies provided.

Facilities, Parking & Cleaning

Facilities

  • St. Andrew's Hall is a non-smoking residence, and pets are not allowed in the building.
  • There are coin laundry facilities and locked bicycle storage facilities available in the building.
  • High-speed cable Internet provided. We suggest guests bring their own routers to have wireless internet connection, using the complimentary highspeed internet in their units. Routers can also be rented for extra fees.
  • Phones are not provided.

Parking

Parking at St. Andrew's Hall is by permit only. Please see the fees which include parking in the section for “Fees”. There is no free parking at St. Andrew's Hall.

Cleaning

  • Guests are responsible for cleaning their rooms/suites while they are here. No housekeeping services are provided. Basic cleaning materials are supplied in each unit.

For almost five years, I have lived in St. Andrew’s Hall, and I cannot imagine having lived anywhere else. The sense of community coupled with the welcoming and accommodating staff forge an incredibly supportive atmosphere for students. Not only is the location convenient, but the living space swells with a warmth and memory that croons, “home.” If I could do it all over again, I would choose to live here in a heartbeat.
